Penang Island Jazz Festival, 4th to 7th Dec at Bayview Beach Resort - Jazz

music performing acts with over 50 local and international performers.

Chingay Procession at Padang Kota Lama. A parade of giant flags, lion and

dragon dances, acrobats, and dozens of decorated floats taking to the streets

amidst the beating of gongs and drums. Held as part of Chinese New Year

festivities, it was one of the most decorative Penang event and festivals.


Countdown on 31st Dec 2008 to usher New Year at Gurney Drive ,

Esplanade, Juru Auto City & Georgetown .
